'Pets in Spring' photo competition winners!

Thank you for all your entries to the James Wellbeloved 'Pets in Spring' Flickr group, we really enjoyed looking through them and we're delighted to announce these pictures of Lola, Kalanita and Akira as the winners.

About Lola: 14-month-old Lola loves the outdoors - and can often be found rolling about in snow, sand or streams. Lola is a very sociable dog - she never leaves her owner Michael's side and even gets on well with his kestrel! She isn't too keen on the vacuum cleaner though.

About Kalanita: Kalanita is a 9-month-old rescue cat who loves playing in the garden, but isn't yet brave enough to venture onto the beach at the end of the garden! Kalanita can be usually be tempted out of the garden into the house with a meal of James Wellbeloved.

About Akira: Akira is an extremely popular ferret - causing a stir in the park whenever his owners take him out for a walk and even playing catch with children! He's happiest when being brushed but doesn't like is being left alone.

The winning dog, cat and ferret will all receive a deluxe James Wellbeloved goodie bag, and as we were so impressed with the number and quality of dog entries, we've also selected four runners up who will also win a goodie bag.

About Tarka: Tarka is a 6-month-old gundog-in-training, but her favourite hobby is still jumping into puddles, ponds and rivers. After a hard days work, she can be found snoozing on the sofa.

About Buffy: Buffy was found as a stray before her owner, Judith, adopted her. She always suffered with tummy troubles until Judith's neighbour recommended James Wellbeloved and now she's a fit and healthy 10-year-old.

About Ernie: Ernie is a Dogs Trust dog who rarely sits still - which makes this beautiful picture even more of an achievement.

About Oscar: 1-year-old Hungarian Vizla Oscar recently climbed Mount Snowdon and although he doesn't like rain he loves swimming!
