The history of  James Wellbeloved

Based in the heart of Somerset, James Wellbeloved started with one simple aim - to produce a food that would help dogs that suffered from food allergies and digestive intolerance. These problems meant that many dogs suffered from loose digestion and skin irritations that made their lives a misery and was distressing for their owners.  A list of ingredients that were thought most likely to cause digestive and skin upsets was set up. None of these ingredients were to be included in James Wellbeloved dog foods.

Since those early days James Wellbeloved has continued to develop. Our range has grown to include cat food, ferret food and dog treats. We are now one of the country's leading pet food producers but we have remained true to our heritage - we have not compromised our products and we are still based in the Somerset countryside.

James Wellbeloved only supply the specialists who can advise pet owners on the correct product for their pet’s needs. There is continuous product development and an ongoing commitment to product quality.
